CNR SPIN in Naples

The research activity within the Naples Unit of CNR-SPIN is centered on the study of innovative materials for electronics, such as strongly correlated oxides, superconductors and organic/hybrid materials, and their application in the development of novel devices concepts and prototypes. A key element of our approach is pursuing at best the development and application of new linear, non-linear and ultrafast optical techniques for the materials synthesis and characterisation.

The Naples Unit of CNR-SPIN is hosted in the Physical Science Department of the University of Napoli "Federico II", where superconductivity and laser physics are traditionally leading fields, through an agreement formally signed at the end of 2002 and presently going to be renewed.
